One hundred and seven years ago in Chicago, Illinois the legendary Walt Disney was born. Walt Disney was an innovator and created so many great things we have come to know and love. From movies and animation to theme parks this man created it all. Unfortunately for Walt her died of lung cancer 5 years before his dream of Walt Disney World became a reality. His brother Roy Disney postponed his retirement to make sure that dream came true.
Today his legacy lives on in movies and theme parks throughout the world. In 2001 for the 100 Years of Magic celebration MGM studios opened Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream. The attraction is an interactive gallery with never been seen Disney memorabilia. One Man’s Dream includes pieces of history from Walt Disney’s life as well as the history of his company. It includes a number of models of parks and attractions and a film on Walt Disney’s life and the creation of Mickey Mouse. A true tribute to man that started it all.
